About Me

I'm so excited to be teaching first grade again at KV with the best teammates ever, Mrs. Bendekovits, Mrs. Davis, and Mrs. St. George. Each one of my "school kids" becomes an extension of my "real" family and I love building relationships with them and their families.  After all, Kernsville is truly a special place - a wonderful community built on friendship and respect.

 

This is my eleventh year teaching at Kernsville, but it has been my home away from home for many years - my children began their education at this wonderful school! My husband, Jim, and I have three children, Michael (23) who works as an account executive in a PR firm in NYC, Christopher (21) who is enrolled in his senior year at West Chester University, and Jessica (19) who is a sophomore at Duquesne University, who keep us very busy.  I am so very proud of my children and the wonderful young adults they are!

 

I enjoy spending my quiet time reading a book, playing with my dog, Kona, or vacationing with my family.  This summer we traveled to my favorite Island of Bermuda, hiking, kayaking and exploring all its beauty.
